FIREBALL - How To Play

Ignite your game on May 3. FIREBALL is coming!

On May 3, a new way to win Pick 3 or Pick 4 arrives! It’s called FIREBALL. Note that the base Pick 3 and Pick 4 games will not change. Here’s a glimpse of how FIREBALL works.

- Adding FIREBALL improves your chance to win a prize.
- After each day and night Pick 3 and Pick 4 drawing, the FIREBALL number will be drawn from 10 numbered balls (0-9) for each game.
- You can use the FIREBALL number to replace any of the Lottery-drawn numbers to make new combinations (create three sets of numbers for Pick 3 and four sets for Pick 4). If your numbers with the FIREBALL number match the winning numbers, you win a FIREBALL prize.
- Adding FIREBALL doubles the cost of your play(s).

Hey guys!! I see a lot of y’all are having problems with this. This is how it works….. the fireball ONLY replaces one of your original three numbers you played. For Example, you played 123 with fireball. The drawing came out to be 023 with fireball 1. You still win bc you can replace the 0 (from the drawing) with the fireball 1 and still have your original number “123” matched.

The fireball only purpose is to still give you a winning combo from your original play. Another example, you play 170 w/ fireball and the drawing comes out to be 180 with fireball 7…. Now you can replace the 8 with your fireball 7 and still win because it match your original numbers. That’s it.

Lot of ppl playing fireball wrong. The fireball only can be used to CHANGE THE WINNING/LOTTERY DRAWN NUMBER. Not your ticket number. If the WINNING/LOTTERY DRAWN number is 6305 fireball 0 and you have 6543 you don’t win. You can’t use the fireball to change numbers on your ticket, fireball ONLY CHANGES/MAKES COMBINATIONS on the WINNING/LOTTERY DRAWN NUMBERS. Again, you cannot change numbers on your ticket.
Winning numbers- 6305 fireball 0
Your numbers- 6543 (you lose)
Fireball use- 0305, 6005, 6300, 0036, 5006, 5030, etc all different combinations of the LOTTERY DRAWN numbers.
Your ticket (6543)has to match a combination that can be made from the already drawn lottery winning numbers.
Basically in order to win with fireball, the fireball number has to be on your ticket already.
They did a horrible job explaining this.

I don't understand the fire ball game. I had a pick 3 number with the fire ball number any order for 50 cent I turned the ticket in so sure I had won something, no money, so is fire ball just a nother way of taking your money?

So I play 222 with fireball but it's no fireball number? So how that works?

Is the fireball payment a separate payment? Or, do you get 2 payments? One for fireball and one for the combination which now converted into your original number?

I have had many an encounter with Virginia State Lottery. Every Time I Replace A Number With The Fireball, I Still Lose!!!

you have play the combination number plus the fireball in order to win for example if the numbers come out 991 and the fire ball is 6 you can still win with 691 961or 996 but you would've had to play one of the combinations with the the fireball to win. For instants if the number came out 991 and the fire is 6 if I played 961 plus fireball I still win.

I played 3412 (any) with fireball, the # came 2128, two #'s (12) are the same, so why is it not a winner ?

I played 2209 exact and the number came out with 2299 and 9 was fire ball. So why I didn’t win?

So what im guessing if you go and play straight box @dd fireball $2 n pick 33(3) and wait for the winning numbers to show and the winning numbers is 33(4)if the fireball is 2 u just sol 😔...but if the fireball number was 4 insted of 3 i will win straight hope i got it right? My question is how much money do you win if you get all the numbers right + the correct fireball some people say its and extra $200 on top of $500 for straight play who has won wit fireball and how much on a $2 ticket?

The draw is: 924 (3 fireball).
I believe I'm a winner!
Reasoning: I can use the (3)
To replace a number.
So now it would be:
(3) 24.. which would be a winner! I play 50/50
So I should be a winner both straight AND box!!

Go to the store to use ticker checker and it says differently. The employee says, that happens all the time..the checker is not set up to pickup the fireball for some reason. Tickets have to go to office to cash. Is that the

I've watched this 3 times and I still don't understand how to play. If the winning number is 358 how does that 6 pictured @0:56 do anything for you?

I played 666 5o/straight with fireball total $2 number came out 660 an fireball 6 I only got $100 but if I had of played without the fireball I would’ve won $250 that fireball take away you have to put extra on the fireball to win more someone please tell me is there any different way of winning more?
