Visited it this summer. Don't just visit Barcelona or Madrid. See Seville, Granada, and Cordoba. Each one is a gem. Out of 5 cities I visited Seville was easily my favorite. Also highly recommend seeing Plaza de Espana instead of mushroom.

love the city plus less than 2hrs train can take you to Cordoba which is a wonderful and a must visit city too
