Finding My Wedding Dress | Said YES to the dress | Sanne Vloet

Hiiii,

I can't believe that I found my wedding dress!!! It is perfect!

A couple of months ago I met up with the girls for my wedding dress fitting at Pronovias in Beverly Hills here in L.A and I had so much fun! I went to a couple places before hand and didn't really fall in love with anything. The girls at Pronovias were so kind and helpful and I probably tried on 20 dresses before I found the perfect one.

The process of finding a wedding dress can be so stressful but I just went with my gut feeling. I want to be able to look back at my wedding photos 20 years from now and still feel like the dress is timeless and beautiful. Someone told me to decide location before the dress and this is so true! Since I am getting married in Italy I wanted something that is a beautiful material and works well with nature. Can't wait to show you the actual dress!!! Sooo soon!

I tried on hundreds of dresses and settled on a simple one that I felt pressured to say 'yes' to after dragging my crew to multiple appointments over several weekends. When covid hit, I had a two-year delay over 4 postponed wedding dates to agonize over my decision until my castle wedding in the Italian Alps. With only 8 months to go, I decided to sell the first dress and worked with a designer on a custom gown instead. The new dress fit my venue so much better, was uniquely 'me, ' and made me feel like a princess on my wedding day! It was all meant to be. Good luck with your wedding planning adventures!

I am just like you with making a Quick decision. I never have that “this is the one” feeling, and it does not matter if it is the right man, the right house, the right education, I need time to really feel it❤️ Even when I gave birth to my twins, it was not an instant feeling of love the minute I gave birth😅
