I've wanted to see this so bad since I saw the trailer back in October. It looks phenomenal, there is a clear influence from Tarkovsky in Pálmason’s work and a focus on using the environment and landscapes to tell the story. His short Nest was a great example, or the opening of A White, White Day. I wish I could go to TIFF but it's just not financially feasible for me, please give film a digital or physical release ASAP!

I’ve been watching this movie yesterday in cinema and oh boy what a masterpiece this is.. might go back to watch it a second time.

Looks fabulous. Same atmosphere as Irish director Pat Murphy films, seen in Anne Devlin and Nora. Captures the time and place to perfection.

Fun fact, Tarkowsky's film "Mirror" was first suposed to be called "A white white day". Prior to Godland Pálmason maide a film called "A white white day". Yeah Pálmason is influenced by Tarkowsky 😁

Godland da god, it came out on the Criterion collection for those that couldn't catch it in the cinema.
