Ancient LATO Λατώ Drone 4K Crete

The Dorians built the ancient city of Lato in the 7th century BC. It was a well defended city with high city walls and temples of Artemis and Apollo. Lato was one of the strongest ancient cities of Crete in Greece. Nearchos, the admiral of Alexander the Great's army was born in Lato. During the Roman times the city was known as Lato Etera.

The ancient city of Lato is located 3 km from the village of Kritsa in the East of Crete.
