Taguig PWD office not accessible

The Persons with Disability Affairs Office or PDAO of Taguig City may be one of the first in Metro Manila, but it is not the most accessible.

Large tables, cabinets and monobloc chairs crowd the office. The staff have to move the tables for a wheelchair-user to enter every time.

Meanwhile, a ramp has been put outside the building, but without a metal railing to support those with mobility or visual disabilities.

PDAO head Helario Supaz says the office has plans for improvement, but they do adjust to the needs of P-W-Ds in the meantime.
