I'm a Bengali-American, first generation born in the US. I've never been truly fluent in Bangla and it sucks because it's a huge part of my culture that I feel that I'm missing out on. Every time I attempt to fully learn Bangla again I feel like a fraud for even trying, especially when it comes to my family back home and here.

The one solace I have is through music, where it seems to come more naturally. It's why I love your guys' music so much, I feel like I can connect to another part of my roots through all the Bangla artists out there, but it was with you guys that I was able to start.
