SOVEREIGN Ship Tour & Review (Pullmantur)

Cruise Capital's editor, Jordan, takes you on a tour of the beautiful Sovereign, operated by Pullmantur.

Built in 1988 for Royal Caribbean International as the 73,000 GT Sovereign of the Seas, it was once the largest cruise ship in the world. The ship was transferred to Royal Caribbean’s Spanish subsidiary, Pullmantur, in early 2009 and now operates cruises in the Mediterranean and South America.

The ship caters predominantly for Spanish-speaking guests, but don’t let that put you off trying a cruise on Sovereign with Pullmantur. The crew speak English, drinks are all-inclusive, and the cruise fares are superb value for money.

I think one of RCCL's Sovereign class ships should be saved for the future. In time ppl will look back at these vessels like we look back at the great ships of early 20th century Cunard and White Star.
