I've got incredibly dry skin, esp in winter, and no matter how many serums, moisturisers, primers and for-dry-skin foundations I always end up with that horribly feeling of tightening skin, .. However, since I bought the Fix + my face looks happier and less miserable and my skin looks younger, hydrated and glowly :-) Absolutely lovin' it :-)

You should put a fixing spray(Urban Decay All Nighter) on after MAC Fix+. The MAC Fix+ will meld your makeup together so that when you mist on a fixing spray it will set all of your makeup and prolong it rather than just the top layer of makeup. (:

Back when fixing sprays weren't such a thing... feels like a million years ago

I always know if you of all makeup artists on YouTube recommend it that I'm more than likely to get it. You're so reliable and straight to the point. Love it.

I think it was made to go hand in hand with Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation. The foundation will not budge all day without a primer so I don't need one, but depending on my skin that day it can look cakey or dry - Fix+ eliminates that.

Just got this and i've heard really good reviews. Sprayed it over my make-up and noticed my skins feels a lot more hydrated and less cakey!

This is actually amazing, I spray it after my makeup to make it look less cakey and it makes my skin look so flawless💖😊

It's called Fix+ because it "fixes" your makeup in place, setting it, plus it can be used as a light primer, a skin hydrator, etc.

I used Mac fix+ for years, but I switched to Avene thermal water which costs a lot less (150 ml for 11 USD). The main reason for switching is that basically it is seriously just like water, it did not do anything than take away the powdery look. I therefore tried the Avene thermal water for fun, and it works exactly the same. Spray it on, and wait a couple of minutes and that's it.

Yes, mix 100% pure glycerin (1/3) with pure water (2/3), NOT tap water, it will mold. I use it because I have very sensitive skin, works as well as the fix plus for a lot cheaper and it doesn't damage my skin! I hope that helps!

If you use the Fix+ with a creamy compact foundation it helps it to buff in to the skin so much better! Does not set makeup at all, like you said, but I go through so much of it to help my makeup from creasing throughout the day. It's also great for curly haired curls, in a pinch.

If you're looking for a simple spray to take the edge off your face powder, make your own. Very simple to do. Get an empty bottle with a mister that sprays a very fine mist. Fill it 98% full of hydrosol & 2% glycerine. That's a basic face spray. For those with more skin care knowledge you can add other ingredients for dry or oily skin. Very cheap & easy. Works just as well as this product

What will you say about SKINDINAVIA -The Makeup Primer Spray compare to this MAC prep-prime fix plus? Thanks

I love As i use a lot of powder and heavy make up so this helps me get rid of this powdery look. You can also spray if after you put face cream on, will work similar to thermal water.

Huh...I've apparently been using it so wrong! Okay not wrong since I recently found out there's a lot of uses for it and I loved what I use it for but still...I guess I just followed a youtuber and never read the description or anything. I've been using it to wet my brush if I wanted to use an eyeshadow wet. What a waste! lol. I never use it so I still have quite a lot left, I'm going to give this a try for sure.
