2017 Ford Explorer 0-60 MPH (sport mode)

Got it to 60 in 7 seconds. Shaved a whole second off from last video.

Great video! A while back, my dealer tried telling me that engaging the 4WD on dry pavement would likely damage the tranny or 4WD system. This does not appear to be the case here. I've driven one of these before and they usually do quite good in the snow. I'd rather not take it too far off road though due to limited ground clearance.

So sand mode is key to get that top 0-60? I have a 2015 Explorer Sport with 2 turbochargers.

that was 8 seconds. RT Durango heavier yet 5.8 seconds 0-60 all day long stock.

That's sand mode, not sport mode. I have a 2018 sport trim, which would be basically the same, and it doesn't have "sport" mode, just normal mode and all other modes.

Does sand mode make the ford use all 4 wheels ? and is it safe?
