So many homeowners have experienced increased rates. One man who lives in Brooksville said even in a rural area, his homeowner's insurance rates have increased.

Ok so please explain to me why our state has a "SURPLUS" & can't contribute at least some of those funds towards Citizens insurance

How about a Public Option instead of kowtowing to uninterested corporations? Florida is already doing this with their "Emergency Assessment" tax on insurance payers already; just make it official.
