I play a lot of Paladins, and I can confirm that we all dream of this at least once in between sessions. When we've got an active Oath of Vengeance or a particularly That Guy-ish party, it can be even more frequent. And most of the Clerics secretly want to watch it happen.

We had a friend join as a paladin recently in our game based in the Elder Scrolls universe, advised by his God to help us. Into a group with someone currently doing quests to join the dark brotherhood, an active thieves guild member & a womanising Nord. Then theres me, a bard/sorc multi class, sat in the corner reading books & transcribing scrolls.

I have this idea for a one session or a short adventure for evil characters - a group of like level 3-5 evil PCs who have to travel in the company of like a level 20 Paladin NPC to find something like a burial place of a valuable evil artifact. To have players be their evil fantasies while also hiding it from "Mom"
