2012 Mustang GT with AED Lope Idle Tune, Roush Axleback and no Cats

Here it is with the cats deleted. The Roush axle back will have to go as the car is just too loud without cats. It does have a mean idle though. LOL. I am going to borrow some stockers while I figure out mufflers.

I work at a car dealership. We got a 2013 GT500 without the cats. Loudest car I've ever heard. Sounded glorious, but loud as hell.

Go back to the gt500s, any other chambered muffler I had sounded great until I had someone else drive my car but then they didn't sound right. The tinny sound was overpowering the throaty roar so I put the gt500s back on and listened to it drive and the tone was perfect, very very subtle tinny sound with the deep roar that can be heard far away, I couldn't be happier with the gt500s

I have no idea why you would quiet that badass car down! Sounds freaking awesome!! Bummer you didn't like it. :)

The Roush are not mufflers at all. They are, if anything, expansion chambers that make the exhaust louder. This car was actually quieter than this with muffler deletes and just the 3 inch Bullets.

It will sound loud, but probably not as loud as this car was. I would suggest keeping the resonators, or at least replacing the factory resonators with 3 inch Race Bullets. If you get the full Outlaw Catback, be prepared for serious volume with no cats.

LOVE IT!! I saw your post on SVPT that now its too I told you!. Get the stockers on there and make another video.Then get the GT500s and do another.Thats what I was gonna do!!

@kroven009 The GT500s are great mufflers, no doubt. They may wind up getting the call once again. I wish I had kept them and not sold them. LOL.

Woah!! I bet that Roush setup sounds insane in person. Now what about just straight pipe, no mufflers, no cats, no resonators. Now with the muffler deletes did you also delete the cats?

Yea I could see that as a DD pulling on the I am getting ready to duplicate this as my AED tune and cat deletes will be here next week. She is my weekend queen tho. Still a nice car bud!!

@LMBC6Brian Stockers are on and it is once again driveable. No sure what mufflers I will go with. GT500s are so played out. I am thinking about Ultra-Flows.

I loved it, but it was seriously the loudest car I have ever owned...and I have owned some absurdly loud cars. For a DD it was too much.

Sounds sick my dude, iam getting my 5.0 in a month or so and plan on running full catless with the Outlaw axelback, how do you think itll sound?

cats are a bad idea with that setup.... the cammed tune will burn them out faster than usuial

Really, you think 3inch off road x with the Outlaws wouldn't be louder then this....darn then, I guess i will jus put straight pipe in then...lol
