In Romanian there exists a proverb, that fits the case with the alligator: "A fool who isn't proud, isn't fool enough."

About Cheerleader and Germany: We have something similar in some parts of germany, at least it reminds me about cheerleading.
Every City, Town and whatever which has a "Karneval-Tradition" has also "Funkemariechen". It's not about sports, but they do similar acrobatics and wear extreme short skirts etc

The "classic hydrant" (Überflurhydrant) can only be used in warm regions because they would freeze at low temperatures. But in my childhood in Germany I also saw several Überflurhydrants. According to German Wikipedia they still seem to be used here.

Regarding "Gridgirls" (ladies holding umbrellas for race riders, being scantily dressed while doing so) - they are no longer a thing in racing events. Most racing events don't have them any longer or replaced them with young men and women in just normal corporate sportsgear, indicating the racing team accordingly. Toned down for the same reasons we look sceptically at chearleaders.

4:05 😅So basically we are letting the sport speak for itself and that's all the entertainment we need?!😆 I can live with that

I didn’t even know that mega churches exist! 😮
Now I feel like I’m living under a rock.

US mega-churches, football games, political rallies etc. are like concerts😂 That's how they attract the gullible crowds. The people are basically just "there for the entertainment"

*Wait a minute* ! I've been consuming your videos for years now and you are telling me, you're NOT a firefighter? What other secrets do you keep up?

Re: fire hydrants
It is less about better for fighting fire and more about being better for Germany.
For one the subterran fire hydrants do not freeze over and do require much less mechanical wizardry to ensure that.
They also won't fall victim to some car or truck or whatever.
It is much more about the time the fire hydrant is not used than about the time it is being used.
Also, the German variant is of course better.
Kidding aside, I think the German version is just another case of German infrastructure being more ...I do not know if "sophisticated" is the right word, but I would put the subterran fire hydrant in the same category as the ground cables instead of cable on wooden poles. Germany spends more on putting its infrastructure underground so it is less vulnerable to bad weather.

Its a question of capacity for water, a hydrant classic, you can see similar in US means it can fit in 2 C tubes fill with watering pressure, underfloor connect „always a b“ a bigger sice or more c sice tubes for more water and more separate tubes at Aktion. But there are a lot of classic Hydrant specially in coutry side of Germany 🇩🇪

I’ve only seen cheerleaders at football and basketball games here in the US. Baseball doesn’t have cheerleaders to my knowledge; usually there’s just a mascot. Nor soccer — as you say, halftime just isn’t long enough, although often there’s some kind of 15-minute performance at halftime by local musicians or dancers depending on the occasion. And yes, we Americans expect to be entertained from start to finish!
