As a very small center in high school I used Bill Russell technique effectively against much larger centers. On defensive rebounds I would sprint down court to get a easy layup and even if I didn’t they had to run to. Most big centers would be done by half time. Others midway through the third quarter. Damn I was on Bill Russell level. Mentally that is.
