The zeebruge morse code actually plays randomly without being on the tower as long as you have the Infiltrator pickup, it's just far more subtle and quiet.

Imagine the first ever guys who solved this puzzle, how irratating it was and how long it took them, mad respect for them :)

2:34 "Somebody joined the server and they ARE able to destroy these mahcines, but luckily they didnt" Famous last words

I remember when I was doing the Zeebruge step, someone joined the server and picked a flamethrower kit, and it basically became a horror game, where I had to sneak through the map to get to each room, then shut the doors to solve the puzzle. It made the puzzle so much more fun!
So thank you, random flamethrower guy.

I remember what a grind getting that thing was, but in my opinion it's the best Easter egg in BF of All time. Such a feeling of accomplishment. Congrats bro.

no matter what anyone says to me, nothing can ever convince me there’s an achievement more difficult than getting every dog tag for the Peacekeeper

Imagine if the spooky sounds in the process, and the smokes timings/patterns were a part of even deeper easter egg than this one, and its soo secret that even devs forgot it exists.

Easter eggs in games are the best thing, but some easter eggs are over the top complicated.

Imagine you're just enjoying a casual game of Battlefield, and then 7:11 starts playing.

1:26 “Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori” is actually Latin for “It is sweet and honourable to die for the fatherland”, and this phrase originated from Rome by a lyric poet named Horace in the Odes written by him. This line was then popularised in World War 1 where everyone was very patriotic about fighting in the war, only to have their expectations ruined and lied to as the reality and horrors of war hits them. Another poem was written by Wilfred Owen in the war and published shortly after in 1921 (when he sadly didn’t get to see it published) titled “The old lie: Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori” describing exactly those horrors of war, changing many minds and opinions on warfare.

I remember doing this when the community first solved it. Most difficult series of easter eggs I've ever done, but man is the Peacekeeper cool.

This was the only Battlefield easter egg I ever completed, and I must say that it was well worth it. The whole process was fun, though very annoying. The Peacekeeper is also very worth the trouble.

Getting the peacekeeper is long and tedious, kudos to you TBAG!

How difficult do you want this to be?

Battlefield: yes

This is insane. Battlefield always has the most insane Easter eggs. It always surprises me that people ever figured some of this stuff out.

I honestly really enjoyed the whole process with each of the Easter eggs. Getting audio clips off of my Xbox for Morse code in the first dog tag was tough, but I always felt like I got rewards that could show my effort and determination.

The coolest part was once after I unlocked the peacekeeper, one guy messaged me after I shot him with it and said he was honored to have been killed by that gun. We had a nice conversation and I wished him luck getting it himself. Cool interaction over such a cool Easter egg.

Ironically I think this gun has one of the slowest draw speeds of any pistol. As a result it's pretty bad at most of the stuff you'd typically use a sidearm for, so I think this gun is better used as essentially your primary weapon most of the time. It's fun to use it on assault with the frommer auto, because your primary and secondary roles basically switch

I LOVED the grind (with the exception of the mission at the Chateau). It really was the best easter egg in Battlefield and it was more fun unlocking the Peacekeeper than the Bow in BF4

Actually, unlocking a (slightly) better gun that has all that flare and stuffs for going through literal hell, is a well earned prize imo.
