Per viewer request, here is a tutorial on a 5L4B turk's head on a pinned mandrel. The tying process is easy and lays out a nice clean knot for further doubling, interweaving or expanding.

It's not complete, it's still wrapped around a mandrel.

how would you make this turk's head longer? say about 12 inches longer? on a mandrel?
