It’s almost 2020 guys!
I started out this month, as I do most months, creating my bullet journal so I can track things like my sleep, habits, and goals for the month.
But then, I stopped.
It’s not only the end of the year, but the end of the decade, and so I felt like I had to do something big!
But while I was thinking about making my New Years Resolution, I came across a ton of research saying the same thing: DON’T MAKE A NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION!
So many New Year’s Resolutions fail every year because of something called “Cultural Procrastination”.
Cultural procrastination is when we as a culture make commitments for the future; we procrastinate. Rather than saying, “I’m going to start going to they gym TODAY”, we say “I’ll start going to the gym on January 1st!”
But what happens when January 1st comes around, and we don’t feel like going to the gym? We procrastinate, and keep pushing things off until our motivation just fizzles away.
And so, after reading all these articles, I’ve decided that I need to get laser focused on ONE THING I CAN START TODAY!
My One Big Thing: 2020 will be the year of real estate wealth building!

In this video, you’ll see how I’m structuring this last month of the decade to get laser focused on my lead goals (rather than lag goals) and hopefully making 2020 my best year yet :)
