The Robot vs. The Aztec Mummy (1958) is a Mexican sci-fi horror film that combines elements of both adventure and campy B-movie fun.

The story centers on a scientist, Dr. Eduardo Almada, who uses hypnosis to help his fiancée, Flor, recover memories of her past life as an Aztec princess. Through these sessions, they learn that a sacred treasure was hidden by the Aztecs in a tomb, protected by the vengeful, undead mummy, Popoca. As they set out to recover the treasure, they face Popoca's supernatural wrath.

Meanwhile, the villainous Dr. Krupp, also known as "The Bat," plots to steal the treasure for himself. To defeat Popoca, he constructs a giant robot, setting up a climactic showdown between the robot and the Aztec mummy in the temple ruins.

Despite its low budget and special effects limitations, the film became a cult classic due to its absurd premise, combining a robot, an ancient curse, and mad scientists all in one movie.

Weird Circle episode titled "The Werewolf," the story takes on a dark and tragic tone, centering around a man who works for a powerful noble. After his wife mysteriously deserts him, the man finds himself condemned to death by the baron for reasons linked to an attempted assassination—though the exact transgression is revealed slowly over the course of the episode. Desperate to escape his fate, the man flees with his three children to the remote and ominous Hartz Mountains.

However, misfortune continues to haunt them. The father meets a tragic end, leaving his three children to wander the wilderness alone, cold and hungry. When they come across a cottage, they are taken in by a seemingly kind man. Soon after, a mysterious visitor—a man accompanied by his beautiful daughter—arrives at the cottage. What seems like the end of their troubles quickly turns into something far more sinister.

Strange occurrences begin to unfold, leading the children into a terrifying confrontation with forces they cannot understand or control. As the dark events escalate, the true horror of the situation becomes clear, culminating in a chilling and unhappy ending.
