Great video! 1st I heard of this new LOTR movie and I am all in as ling as we get Peter Jackson back and Serkis as Gollum so I am happy. Woulda liked to have gotten Peter Jackson directing but him Producing with Serkis directing is a very Happy 2nd choice! I don't know anymore if the LOTR books orher than what we have already gotten on film with the LOTR Trilogy and The Hobbit Trilogy. Are there any stories showing the whole LOTR Hunt for The Ring from the Ring Wraith's perspective? Or rather the point of view of Yhe Right ng Wraiths? I think that's their names anyways. The original 9 Human Kings that are given the Rings of Power by Sauron and then enslaved forever under its control. 1 of them, the leader(can't remember names), stabs Frodo with the blade while he is wearing the Ring. Morgul blade maybe? I dunno. Anyways, that would ve neat to see if done right I think. But does anyone know if there is anything written like that? Seeing the LOTR story and the pursuit of The 1 Ring from the P.O.V of the Wraiths(original 9 kings Sauron gave Rings of Power to)? That would be pretty Rad I bet and I would definitely be buying the whole Storyline as the DVD/BlueRay's come out

I think there are so many more interesting stories in Middle Earth: The Fall of Gondolin, Beren and Luthien, War of the Ring, Hunt for the Ring, Treason of Isengard, War for the Jewels, Children of Hurin.

Watching the fan film was fun but very creepy to me as a child. I'm excited to see how it goes so long as WB lets them cook.

As I recall (from reading the actual book) Gandalf was supposed to meet Frodo in Bree. Aragorn only knew that Frodo and his friends were there because he happened to be hanging out just outside of Tom Bombadil’s property when the Hobbits climbed over the fence.
It wasn’t really a coincidence that Aragorn was at Bree because Aragorn did know that Gandalf was missing. Aragorn was watching for Frodo to show up because Gandalf was missing. It does help to know the source material unless you are Peter Jackson and decided to rewrite half the story your own way. I expect we will see more of the same.
Since it has been over 20 years since the trilogy who will they get to play a much younger Aragorn and Gandalf? Since real humans age much faster than movie characters I expect that the original actors are not going to be up for this movie.

Nobody asked for this movie. Hell, a Darth Vader movie would have been a better idea than a Gollum movie but knowing it's Disney they screw that up as well.

Jackson has a chance to redeem himself to some extent, but this is not enough content for a long movie. He'll either produce a gem or another bloated abomination.
