Solve Galaxy S6 storage problems with our handy guide to your Galaxy S6 and external expansion options you can try out.

Storage on the Galaxy S6 is going to be an issue for some due to a lack of expandable Micro SD card storage options.

Buy the Inatek Card Reader:

First off you can get 100GB of free cloud storage from Microsoft's One Drive app installed on your S6 as standard.

That will allow you to move some of your data into the cloud - like photos or video - and free up space.

Next we go through your options for finding out what is using up space on your device.

And lastly I will show you how to use an external expansion device to add SD Card, USB Storage and Micro Stick to your Galaxy S6 using an inexpensive USB hub with USB2GO.

I use sandisk ultra dual usb for my Nexus 5 and Nexus 7. In short its great, its fast, compact, easy to carry. No need of OTG cable or something else, just plug it in.

I cannot believe you can't open the back part to use a SD Memory card. Damn that sucks.

One Drive sucks, because it's limited to 355 kb/s download, so if you have lots of GBs of data and need to download it, it will take a really long time. Now, if you would use Google Drive, that will download data as fast as your connection allows.
