Ah - I'm guilty of flying in the "light wind" configuration most of the time. I'll try the different leader line positions in higher winds.

I have the Vented XX Tarantula, great kite .Placing the white paper under the handles showing the line adjustment makes it much easier for the viewer to grasp the concept, thanks Joe . Only been at it for just over a month broken 4 different rods, all in stronger winds. I no longer try and prevent the kite blowing away while laying on the ground with foot or knee resting lightly on the leading edge. That was rod number 5 broken. I notice in the stronger winds the strings make a loud whistling noise, and the leading edge spar really develops a descent curve. The flutter explanation as Christopher mentioned is helpful and will remove the reflex spring next time as well as making the line adjustments to see the difference

Hello Sir, I am considering in buying one but just want to buy one. Meaning I don't want to get a entry level kite and realize i want more. so which would you consider and which of your kites has the best wind range. Thanks. looking forward to getting one soon .
