Nintendo Wii 10 YEARS LATER! (Is it still worth it?)

The original Nintendo Wii came out over 10 years ago, in 2009 Nintendo updated it by releasing a black Wii, this really wasn't a update though because none of the specs were updated and of actually lost backwards compatibility. But since it's release there were tons of updates and a lot of broken tv's, forgot to mention how a Nintendo DS or Nintendo 3DS could link up with the Wii and play games through both. The Wii was competing against the ps3 and Xbox 360 at the time of its release and I guess the Wii was trying to reach a completely different audience. If you read this far comment "Nintendo Wii = abcde".

Of course it is still worth it. If u are a person that always wants the best graphics etc., maybe not, but if u are a gamer, u will still appreciate it very much
(plus of course the VC games on it!)

I've had the wii for six years now and it is running with good performance in 2017. I LOVE MY WII its a great console to play games on.

the great thing about the Wii is it is super reliable and just was fantastic.

Im 45 years..legend of zelda NES awesome..I have chipped xbox360, ps3 and modded thou is my favorite..its 2018 and yet im still playing with it. 50 hrs and counting for twilight princess and many more hrs for skyward sword. Planning to buy Switch next year....but for now wii is the center of my living room. Its 100% worth it.

anyone still play their Wii now? I've been playing xenoblade again.... and considering getting either The Last Story or Metroid Prime Trilogy. especially since prime 4 is finally confirmed.... its a pretty good time to get into the series.

Sold my black wii cause I have the wiiu too and no GameCube games anyways, so it didn't make sense keeping it, but it was a great console.

I never bought a wii cause i have the 360 }...but i feel nostalgia when I remember all the laughings and fun that this console gave me, one of my best friends in highschool had it and my cousins too and we just to played in christmas ;;C
