It’s hard to remember that these guys have been goal scorers their whole lives. That’s why the make the show. Nothing better than seeing the parents in the stands. Can’t help but think about all those early mornings and winter drives to tourneys.

You can literally feel how proud the parents are

It has to be surreal to see your boy develop to the point where NHL teams express interest, and then later to stand there and watch them wear an NHL sweater on draft day. Then the grind continues for however long it takes to get into an NHL game and play that first one, and ultimately to score an NHL goal. Nobody could possibly appreciate what goes into that more than the parents. What a fantastic moment that has to be. I think I'd be like popcorn dad - unable to stop crying, but hey if I eat a little more popcorn maybe I can get it under control.
