AENT Capstone 004 - Shell Eco-Marathon - Spring 2023

Automation & Controls Engineering students rebuilt Dunwoody's Eco Marathon car to compete in the 2023 Shell Eco-Marathon in Indianapolis, IN. Students designed and built a new chassis, hub motor, motor controller to our existing carbon fiber body. New motor controller and programming combined with the new hardware resulted in an increase from 94.1 mi/kWh to 237.1 mi/kWh. An increase of more than 150%.
