So I have a lot of client projects I keep track of in an Excel spreadsheet. This file is store on an external HDD. Are there any issues with creating paths to specific folders to different client projects from Excel to said folders. Let's say I'm working on a design project for a business. Said business has multiple subfolders within its main client folder. I want to link to the folder within that main folder that takes me straight to the design project. This way, I'm not having to open the drive, and click down several levels to get the folder. Is that a good workflow? Any issues with doing that overall?

Very nice! Now, is there a way to take that path and paste it somewhere? So like in Windows, I can paste the link in the browser window and it will take me directly to the location I'm looking for. Do you have to manually follow the path or can you do the same like in windows? I hope that makes sense. Thanks!

This is the slowest way to do it.
You can actually turn on the option to show the path at the bottom of the finder window. Then you can right click and copy it.
You can also press (from memory, i think it’s this) Cmd + shift + G to open the Go To window. Then press CMD + V to paste the path. Then press enter to go there.
