Elegoo did a lot better in the hardware/firmware department then the other low cost Ender style printers. Community additions to Cura are also great. Love seeing the CHEP Cube.

Just finished adding this to my N2S. Considering how cheap it is even for us. I wonder why it wasn’t included. Perhaps on future models. Easily one of the best upgrades one can do right off the bat. Thanks for the great how to video. You might also included a link in the description to the Elegoo firmware update page that includes instructions and the text file as well. Cheers

BTW: In this firmware's txt-file, you can also activate the machine settings (setting it from 0 to 1) so you can set e-steps and xyz-steps for calibration via the touch screen.

I installed one of these into my kywoo tycoon last night. It uses a rabbit nano variant so it worked perfectly without any issue. Cura plugin was super easy to configure. Did a bunch of testing on it and other than a bit slow to transfer it worked perfectly. I was actually surprised at how well it controlled the printer as i was only expecting file transfer ability.

this is legit the first thing i did when I got my neptune 2, $5, a week of watinin from aliexpress and about 5 minutes of learning how to mod the firmware, and it was done. its limited like you say, but its good. can also be used with prusaslicer now with the 2.4 update

Had a moment where i forgot the wifi visibility setting but all good now.

So so sad they stopped selling this in Canada, finally saved up enough for it then gone everywhere. On top of that the 2S model got its priced jacked up by nearly 100 dollars Canadian on Amazon. The printer looked so good and after having such a great experience with the Mars 2 resin printer I was really looking forward to the Neptune 2.
