As weird as this sounds, you've inspired me to get back into singing with your covers.

I started as an actor in high school and got dragged into musicals because they needed guys (as any thespians can probably confirm, that's normal for school productions). From there I actually developed something of a passion and took several vocal and music theory classes in college, and even landed a few roles in operas. I was decent. But since school, I've let it slip - I was trained for a tonality that simply isn't popular in most music, especially for men. It felt like the songs I could nail and the songs no one cared about were the same list.

Hearing you over these last few months has convinced me of the contrary. These songs you do are great for my voice and training. I've explored further and found more artists - even dabbled I'm some song writing. First time I've used that music theory education since college.

I'm not gonna be a pro singer or anything, but you helped light a spark I'd forgotten about. I sing daily now, even doing my old warm-up routine in the shower. So thanks. You probably weren't aiming for it, but you put some passion back into my life.
