Im glad its nothing like Still Alive, because its not trying to be. That song was legendary. So its good to have that variety and both songs are terrific for each game rather then trying to be t he same :)

'Say you'll remember, to keep it all inside. You can run for the skyline. Your eyes open wide.'

"I hear it
Echoing of every place that we've called our home
And I don't talk
Of any time I ever believed in the unknown
I need it
So I hold on to every mistake that I made alone
And I don't lie
When I say that we will never return to closing doors

Sleep tight in a new light
Through another warning call
Look down on the cold ground
No one try to break the fall

I feel it
Moving in an another direction we call our own
And I won't chase
Anyone who ever believed in what they stole
I need it
So I hold on to every piece of mine that I chose
And I don't lie
When I say that we will never return to closing doors

Sleep tight in a new light
Through another warning call
Look down on the cold ground
No one try to break the fall

Say you'll remember
To keep it all inside
You can run for the skyline
Your eyes open wide

Say you'll remember
To keep it all inside
You can run for the skyline
Your eyes open wide

(It's a memory)
Don't look away
(It's a memory)
Cause when we see it we are closer
Don't look away
Cause when we see it we are near

Say you'll remember
To keep it all inside
You can run for the skyline
Your eyes open wide

Say you'll remember
To keep it all inside
You can run for the skyline
Your eyes open wide

It's a memory, it's a memory, it's a memory, it's a memory
It's a memory, it's a memory, it's a memory, it's a memory
It's a memory, it's a memory, it's a memory, it's a memory
It's a memory, it's a memory, it's a memory, it's a memory"

It should not matter how much you like a certain song. All that should matter how the song fits the overall mood of the game. Iain Cook said (I'm simplifying here): "The sound of CHVRCHES' music resonates with the minimalist sci-fi dystopian world of Mirror’s Edge. We feel that the song complements the drama, emotion and empowering themes of Faith's story.”

CHVCHES are definitely the right band, but nothing beats Still Alive.

Still alive sounds a bit better but this song sounds great as well.I'm pretty excited how it will sound like ingame.

It's quite pleasant, not as, dare I say it, iconic as still alive but not bad Dice, not bad.

That singer looked at me in the audience for a very long time. She's wonderful, and her accent was so unexpected and beautiful. This is by far my preferred song from Chvrches.

Yes! This is how music is supposed to sound like.

Still Alive is edgier and may be better, but this song really fits the game's artistic style, freshness and upbeat mood, especially coming on the heels of getting released from juvie and being able to run the rooftops, again.

I think each theme song fit the personality of its game’s interpretation of Faith. The Faith in Catalyst is more cynical in a humorous manner. Catalyst Faith is more outspoken and sassy as well.

The original Faith was more reserved, yet tempered. She faced shit head on and wasn’t playing around. She would be a bit cynical from time to time but only in the appropriate time and place.

I love both songs and both Faiths!

It may not have the same impact as Still Alive, but I think its really really great and Ive listened to it many times. Having played the beta for Catalyst, I can definitely say this song fits it extremely well and I love it a lot.

Anyone else prefer "Still Alive" ?
This song is still great, but "Still Alive" just seems to fit the Mirror's Edge game better for me.
