AVOID We have had the ICOM IC-F2000 & ICOM IC-4002, both sets switch off without warning, full complement of radios on site would total about 16 radios they all have the same fault, on site we had continous failings with the units turning off without warning, therefore people are unreachable, there is no indication on the radios that they are off on in deed there is no indication on the radios that they are on!  Do not use in emergency response or expect an emergency response, these are so unrelaible they are worse than no 2-way communication at all, they give a very false sense of security.
