There is a hidden detail in the opening scene that emphasizes the tragedy that occurs. If you listen closely, you will notice that the first part of the scene has birds heard chirping in the background. From the moment Clint Barton notices his daughter is gone, the chirping goes quieter until finally there are no birds heard at all. Along with Clint’s family disappearing, this emphasises how Thanos’ snap is wiping out half of the universe’s living creatures one by one.
