Victorian London Ambience | Foggy Victorian Era Night With Rain Sounds, Horses, Church Bell

We're leaping back in time in this Victorian era rain ambience! Let's take a stroll along the foggy streets of 19th century London as a heavy rainfall washes over the cobblestoned streets and church bells ring out in the distance.

For the soundscape of this Victorian era ambiance you'll hear falling rain, horses, footsteps moving along the street, and a distant church bell. I wanted this scene to feel mysterious, like there's more going on than meets the eye, secrets and mysteries tucked into the alleyways. This era is so steeped in mystique, which is why it fascinates me so much.

This is perfection: simultaneously opulent and drab, with a hint of the sinister. The zeitgeist that fueled the imaginative and eternally-popular fiction of Charles Dickens and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, as well as the lush merging of the natural and the fantastic for so many Art Nouveau giants (although this scene particularly puts me in mind of William Morris' elaborate and mysterious textile designs). This video will get many views from me, I assure you.
