Thank you SO much for this!!! I made the cutest skirt but I used the wrong elastic, stitching it to the inside of the waistband, and it all but falls off. My husband wears 100% linen 24/7 for clothes and boxers. Medium weight linen but heavy duty use. Any suggestions- I could go either way and have both good and bad experiences

Sewing store? I miss them. The only one we have left here is Joann’s, and most everything they sell now is on-line. What they have in the store now is slim-pickins’. Quality fabric is hard to find.
