How to complete a Heat Loss survey and report to size a heating system.
Показать описание
This is an overview of using the mobile app to enter the room by room details for a survey, then sending to the online account. On your online account you will be given more options beyond the heat loss results and complete other heating design aspects.
DHW (DOMESTIC HOT WATER)
This will calculate the projected energy demand and running costs for DHW. Soon to be released is cylinder sizing for both domestic and commercial.
EMITTERS AND PERFORMANCE
This page is primarily used for heat pump designs. Once you specify the flow temperature for each room the SCOP (Seasonal Coefficient of Performance) values will be shown, and the system will show if radiators are over or undersized.
CURRENT RADIATORS
Use the app on site to enter the current radiators and our system will display the output values for different flow temperatures.
NEW RADIATORS
PIPE CALCULATION
You select the pipe diameters and lengths of the system. The results will inform you if the pipe sizes, flow rates and pressure losses are suitable. You will then be able to select a circulation pump.
BIVALENT DESIGN
A bivalent system uses more than one heat source. So, we provide an easy-to-use method for you to determine when you need a fossil fuel boiler to operate when a heat pump is at its output limit. This is great for properties which need a 3 phase system for a large heat pump, however only have single phase, therefore a boiler can provide the remaining heating at a bivalent point which you can design.
FUEL COMPARISON
Multiple fuels to compare against, you can adjust the price per unit and CO2 factor (kg/kWh). Present these running costs to your clients.
GROUND LOOP DESIGN
This is a quick and simple tool to establish an estimate of how much pipe you will need for bore holes, slinkys and horizontal layouts. We have used the MCS lookup tables for this process.
PHOTOS AND NOTES
Photos and notes which you or your surveyors have taken will be shown when you open the report from your dashboard. You may also upload and download photos from your PC / laptop too.
