For anyone who wants some more clarification: Capillary fluid movement is determined by two main pressures: hydrostatic pressure, which pushes fluid out of the capillaries, and oncotic pressure, mainly created by albumin, which pulls fluid into the capillaries. If hydrostatic pressure is higher, fluid moves out into the tissues, potentially causing edema. If oncotic pressure is higher, fluid is pulled back into the blood vessels, maintaining fluid balance. The Jv equation helps predict this fluid movement by balancing these pressures, ensuring proper fluid distribution in the body.

Wondering how oncotic pressure is maintained in the brain where there are no albumin proteins?

I just want to make sure correct if I’m wrong. In other words the plasma protein for example albumin were more outside in the cells this will cause a disruption in oncotic pressure that is higher in bloodstream as result the fluid will move to outside too causing edema? Excuse my English.
