I was just watching that movie right now and saw that they changed it to Pizza Hut. I thought I was losing my mind and I'm sitting here arguing with my girlfriend telling her that it was Taco Bell and she's telling me that it's Pizza Hut. I seriously thought I was experiencing Mandela effect

For anyone who wants to know the reason for the changes of Taco Bell to Pizza Hut is because the executives were worried international audiences wouldnt be familiar with Taco Bell.
But you can still find Taco Bell listed in the movie credits.

They alternate between the Pizza Hut and Taco Bell versions in the UK now.

Though we do have Taco Bell's in the UK now, at a whopping three locations >.>

In my country the cable network shows the Pizza Hut version but the subtitles are from the Taco Bell version lol

Having watched this movie (BOTH versions since I actually saw the Taco Bell version first, DESPITE living in the UK because I watched it WAY after the fact), you can actually see the taco bell logos still on the windows in some scenes, most notably when everyone's inside the restaurant and you get that shot of everyone at the table, since the angle is pointing towards the windows, and the Taco Bell logo is still there, but reversed.

I think it's lame that they do things like this. Wouldn't British audiences understand that this is an American movie, so they'd come to the conclusion "Oh, Taco Bell must be an American restaurant chain." When I watch Edgar Wright's comedies, I just figured "These are British movies, so Cornetto must be an ice cream brand from over there." I was right. They didn't have to dub it over with Dreyer's or anything like that.

Because of this film, when I went to the US I had to go to a Taco Bell. The food wasn't as fancy as I expected though.

Never saw the Pizza Hut version, but the Taco Bell product placement never bothered me. As gratuitous as it was, the movie makes a joke out of it.
