Samsung's Galaxy S22 Ultra is a great phone that packs awesome new features that improve on last year's model including the display, the design and the cameras!

In this video, I talk about my experience from an iPhone user's point of view, and which things I like and dislike.

Me a regular consumer who's had iphone since the iphone 7. I switched over to the ultra a few days ago. As much as I miss my iphone, I absolutely love my ultra! It does so much more than apple that it makes up for me missing iphone. The spen is literally the chefs kiss 💋

The battery life I can agree with but when I started hearing your comments on the display it was obvious you were unable to leave your bias at the door 😂

He's hating the camera bump on the s21 ultra, really this coming from a iPhone 13 Max with their massive camera bump also.

This is truly an Apple fan boy's review. I own both an iphone and a Galaxy. The Galaxy has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner which uses soundwaves and pressure to authenticate you. Both are secure, it's just a matter of preference.

I am not sure how you tested/compared the note 20 ultra vs s22ultra, but I've got both of them and even without extra brightness engaged, the s22ultra is visibly brighter than the note..

To everyone who just bought an S22 Ultra & is worried about the battery life, don't worry. It gets a lot better after your first 4-5 days with the phone. Getting more than 24 hrs out of my Ultra and I was only getting 12-16 hours in my first few days

Been watching for years and it's frustrating knowing that every single year, we're going to hear the same thing about the same phones because we already know your preferences. This even shows in your "blind" camera comparisons where we can see clear as day that the best option is NOT what you chose simply because you're already familiar with the iPhones processing since that's all you use. Biases are hard to hide after hearing the same thing over and over even through there's evidence to the contrary. Do reviewers even try anymore? I'd love it if reviewers actually took the time to actually spend time with the devices they're going to review and research & use ALL of the features/facets of the hardware. It's hard to take a review/perspective seriously from someone that has a track record of only using one device and then tossing out a half-baked review of another device that they spent only a couple of hours a week on. Do better.

I don't know why someone would say Face ID is "miles ahead" of fingerprint scanner. Dude, it's just about personal preference. I'd rather use my finger to unlock the phone than automatically use my face to do it.

Once again, Mrwhosetheboss was using the *Exynos* variant of the s22 ultra not the 4nm Snapgragon 8 gen 1, so it is quite likely that the snapdragon variant would perfom better battery life wise as it always does. And yes it's still shitty on Samsung's part because they should optimize their own chips to facilitate the best performance on their own devices, but I still think it is unfair to use Mrwhosetheboss' battery test as a reference since most people in the US will be using the snapdragon variant

1. If the s22 Ultra is like the s21 Ultra, Manually adjusting the brightness to max does not actually let you hit max brightness. The max nits can only be reached in auto mode.
2. The FPS counter is broken on Android version for Pokémon.

Watching this on my new s22 ultra. I had the iPhone 13 pro and this is way better. Display is so much nicer. Love the smooth UI. Love the new camera layout. So far data connectivity seems to be updated also. Camera is definitely amazing. The iPhone 13 pro actually felt heavier!
Also, I don't agree about face ID I don't think face ID works very well. It always delays me getting into the phone in a rush. The s22 ultra fingerprint censor is absolutely lightning fast. The speakers on this thing are definitely very loud. The s22 ultra is brighter and has a much crisper display. The iPhone 13 pro's "extra brightness" is uncontrollable, while the s22u is.

If you guys are always going to be iPhone users, why even review the phone. It makes your videos very biased. For instance you're always going to find issues with it no matter if they got better at all the things you just mentioned. This is how I feel! Seems like you're focused way too much on specs but haven't really experienced it day to day...I'd say try for at least 6 months to a year. Then come back to this video! 😉

Just curious if you have gone into the main settings app and gone into the "Advanced Features" and turned the video brightness to bright instead of normal? I found doing that improved my Note 20 Ultra's HDR YouTube video experience.

Face ID with a mask is less secure than standard Face ID, Apple even informs you when enabling it! Plus, id love to see you use Face ID when your phone is flat on a table! The speakers sound great, you need to enable Atmos and set it to Auto or Music! The brightness is not an issue, its how Samsung programs the display to prevent burn in plus, you didn't face the phone into direct sunlight which is what triggers the 1750 knits, again, also to prevent burn in! There is a setting to increase brightness on videos, was that turned on?
How do i, a person who is not a tech reviewer, know this and not ya'll? 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

The S22 Ultra design is so much better than the iPhone. The silicon case also fits and looks nice.

Such a sick test to do @6:40, good stuff Max Tech

To unlock full brightness capabilities you've got to go in to display settings and enable "Extra Brightness"

Almost everything that you don't like about the s22 ultra is non issue for most people. Like benchmark, screen brightness, an gaming refresh rates...really that's all you got .FYI the screen still gets way brighter its in the settings
