I can tell you after I lost my pepper, shih tzu, I was hysterical. My hubby thought he was going to lose me there for a split second. It was like half of my heart was torn apart. So I know how he feels. It’s horrible. After 8 months of depression, my husband had shown me a pic of a black shih tzu puppy. I was crying and he said he was for me for Christmas. I still have some bad days, but Louie has made me truly love again as far as puppies. I don’t have children, but Louie is basically my child. He’s so funny and entertaining!
