On MouseHunt, the theme is a slightly different orchestration and the guitar section at the end is replaced with a French horn playing the same notes (which was used for the short version of the 1996 DreamWorks Interactive logo). The sound of the bobber hitting the water is also slightly delayed.

Love MouseHunt! It's like the Home Alone movies with a mouse, but instead of parents leaving their kid by accident, it's about two brothers whose father passed away wanting to do something in his memory like living in an old house. I cracked myself up at the cat scenes, the cars, the gangsters Lars was talking to, his accident at their father's funeral, some old stuff set in 1997.

I'm assuming that this was the original fanfare for DreamWorks but only was used in MouseHunt. It may have not been the first movie released by DreamWorks, but it may very well have been the first movie produced by DreamWorks.
