"The Catalinbread Belle Epoch Deluxe is a user-friendly, digital incarnation that pays homage to the sought after Maestro Echoplex EP-3 tape delay.It features a modern version of every functional part of the EP-3.

All circuitry is faithfully reproduced and fine-tuned from the original EP-3 specifications (down to its famous preamp). The only thing missing are the record and playback heads, with a 24-bit high-fidelity digital delay line taking the place of the tape."

The only thing I’d add, is that the pre amp circuit is all analog!, I have one, my favorite delay!

Nice review! But not using an expression pedal for programs 3 (where it controls the speed of the modulation) and 4 (where it controls the filter sweep) was limiting. An expression pedal can also control delay time and echo volume.
