Lixian's subtle storytelling is pretty great here. The assumption can be made that the player hit someone with their car on accident (hinted at with the "hit and run" line and the car zooming past), and now the player is trying to cover it up. But the vengeful spirit of the victim is here to torment the player. Maybe everyone knew this already, but this is me having no idea what this game would be beforehand lol.

I really love how Lixian slowly seeds out the story for us.

You start the game, it says youve made a 'big mess, ' and it's like...okay thats just the bases for the game right?

Then if you manage to catch at the jumpscare the spirit thing says, "Why?" And all at once you realize, "Aw man...I know whats in these bags, huh?"

Then the body outline confirms it. Then theres the "I hit, and you run" line and it all falls into place! Its really cool and clever storytelling!

This is the first video I'm watching after just installing new wifi, so the fake loading screen at 10:57 scared me more than the jump scares😭😭

Based on the clues in the endings messages and some things during the actual gameplay, I'm pretty sure the basic story is: you play as a guy who did a hit and run in his car, and had to hide the body, but it began to haunt you. Fairly simple, quick, and makes for a good base for a good horror game. Good work, Lixian!

Props to the editors for this one because every bit they did had me dying. The anime zoom? The ‘anybody in the woods’ song? THE EDITORS BLOW IT UP? Mark’s whole team just consists of the funniest people on the planet I swear.
