This honestly feels like a siren song on behalf of Instrumentality, as if it's calling out to Shinji to lull him into accepting Human Instrumentality and dissolve into LCL, with its beautiful lullaby of "the real world is devoid of love, just give up!" Like it's trying to falsely comfort him into giving up his life.

This song is like a long awaited suicide. The lyrics are so painful but the instrumental is so peaceful. Like dying so you don’t have to feel any of the pain described in the lyrics.

This poster is arguably even more disturbing than the one that has Shinji and Asuka on the beach overlooking the red sea. It just feels so surreal and nightmarish. But what's worse? It's the fact that you can even recognize some of these faces.

Just edited a marriage video with this music. Customers didn't understand the lyrics because of foreign language but it sounds very romantic for non english speakers so they loved it. As a lone man for couple of months, it was ironic to use this music for that kind of event. "Love's just a thing others do." I felt the lyrics in my bones when i shoot those happy married couple and making the video edit afterwards. They were really liked the video and thank me for it while i take the compliments with a bittersweet forced smile on my face and realizing i still cannot forget about her after months...

Rei floating above the water creeps me out. It gives me the idea that at the very end of the movie when Shinji's looking over at the floating Rei, all of those bodies are under her and we just don't see them. It's probably something I'd like to be kept up in the air.

You know a character has good design when you can just tell by the shape or accesories, you cant see the face or body but you can see the clothes or posture of that character
