I dont know about you, but this things tend to happen to me a lot, and I'm OCD about buying these type of things. I check EVERYTHING before accepting the product. Afterwards, the people who you bought the product, will probably say that you misused it and they wont stand up to their product. Thats why i check everything beforehand. At least they are trying to help you out.

If a dealer is selling something then it's up to them to do a pre-delivery inspection of the product to make sure it's fit for purpose, Its not the customers job to run around sorting out the issues, I am in construction equipment sales and give the workshop a PDI list every time we sell something, then it get polished and inspected.

I know this is an old video, but I am going through the DC videos to learn and figure out what I really need vs what I want... I understand your issues you had, did the dealer not do a walkthrough and inspection, did you? I maybe missed it. I have found that DC puts alot of trust and confidence into their "dealers", and it is not always a good thing. My experience from DC has been, contact your dealer, what happens if they are not up to speed? One could end up with the wrong setup, and the dealer, oh well... Maybe DC responds better to CDL/NONCDL/Large YouTubers which may be their main market, I get it. I am trying to purchase one for personal use, not commercial. I think being factory responsive to questions that really they should be the only ones qualified to answer is a great tenant to their business model. I would like to see them offer builds that can be picked up from the manufacturer. Thanks to you and your information and for DC making it right.

I bought a 32ft diamond c triple dually love the trailer and pull with f350 dually and tow kx080 also I live in Saskatchewan

I feel you brother I order a custom 24’ white HDT and all though I love the trailer I’m definitely very disappointed in the quality. I think they are so behind that they are sleeping on the quality.

There were 5 main issues with the trailer.

1. Powder coating not done correctly, bare spots, chipping, rusting.
2. 12 flush swivel D rings were order and 12 regular D rings were installed.
3. White coupler was not engaging correctly they had to swap it out to a black one from another trailer that was on the lot.
4. Bed roller is stuck and will not roll freely and or under pressure.
5. Holes that wires ran through some not all had missing rubber grommets.

I'm anxious to see your follow-up vids on DC - They are the best, BUT are falling quickly, their welding and QC are turning them into "just like everyone else". Thanks for the videos, I know they're time consuming

It looks like the gromet is there for the light. I have delt with those lights popping out on the fleet I manage. It sucks but it happens.

Do the new trucks have brake controllers that are compatible with electric over hydraulic brakes? I know not all are compatible which could be your issue perhaps. Anyway it's an awesome setup!

Manufacturing and quality control still suffering right now everywhere. Trying to get skilled labor and staff up and train newbies is very hard currently. Most likely some newer employees at DC and the quality suffered. That’s too bad.
