The EBR is the underdog here. If I understand correctly, the BMW has a full fairing with a full exhaust and tune, vs the EBR being naked with just a slip on. I'd like to see an S1000SX stock against the EBR stock, or an S1000RR against an EBR1190RX.

I still say you need a quick shifter. Near 180 hp at the wheel, should be in the high 9's or low 10's every time, even with a fat guy riding it.

As A 2 Buells owner and An RC 51- The Buells Launch like the Beast it has been developed to be. Erik Buell scored a 10 on the Buells. Now the new owner that bought Buell BILL MELVIN I believe, is slowly making a come back. That 1190 and the other models on display down in Daytona Florida at Bike Week Behind Rossmyers Dealership at (Jegs) inside and the Dirt Bikes and Street Bikes ALL Gorgeous ready to ride. Of course there's money up front for the Porsche ( of motorcycles). With the right professional Riders on the race tracks YOU Might not Catch the Buell. The Bikes drag races while entertaining are inconsistencies with proper shifting. STILL though Entertaining.. Love my Buells. YES I love that 2002 RC 51 as well. 👍🏼 😏

I can attest to personal experience... the 1190 is a handful every time off the line and until you get to about 100 mph...

Beautiful Buell, BMW rider was very inconsistent on launches the races were never close to the same each time. Buell for such a beauty has a horrific display.

Anyone else notice the RR is charging hard from 0:57 to 1:00 then pulls dead even...and stops pulling, Can't see a gear shift slowing him up that much.
