How do you become a makeup hoarder? By loving makeup and seeing your favorites get discontinued over and over again. Every time I like something I have a second where I wonder if I should get a backup... Which is stupid when the product is new, but I'm broken inside, I've lost so many favorites over the year... No wonder I had commitment issues and still have trust issues 😂😂😂😅🤪 (Yes, I'm being way over dramatic)

I knew that naked palette was gonna be the hit of the eyes! I say if you still love something keep them it's your body nobody else's so keep as long as you like! This look did turn out very flattering even if older products

Gorgeous look! I especially love the eyes and the blush. Rosy, warm, glowy blushes look so pretty on you. Bravo for gritting your teeth and touching the Naked palette long enough to put together an eye look! 😂 Hope the mascara didn't cause you any irritation! Lots of my favourite makeup products have been discontinued, but what's even worse are the skincare products that have been discontinued. Dozens and dozens, to the point where I almost don't want to admit how much I love something because I know that as soon as I do, the brand will somehow find out and axe it. (Yes, I'm paranoid, but I've been burned so many times that it starts to feel like a personal attack.)

I remember that UD Naked concealer! It was a good one IMO, although I don’t remember many beauTubers talking about it at the time.

It's crazy you brought out the Duwop Lip Venom bc I just watched Jen Phelps' new video about the hottest makeup at Sephora in 2004 and she has an old 2004 Sephora catalog with the Duwop Lip Venom in it. I've never heard of it actually. Not bc I'm not old enough but bc I was never really into makeup until more recently. I'm DEFINITELY old enough lol.

I still have makeup from 20 years ago that I barely used. I don't use it now, but it's like a time capsule in my collection.

I’m so ready for this… I have old make up I keep to compare to new makeup so my collection still looks similar…but I get nostalgia and use them for fun… ( I also clean with alcohol in between use and wash my face within a few hours not a whole day)

I was so upset when the Naked palette was discontinued, I had to get rid of my first one years ago, but I had bought it again before it was gone, and just recently had to toss that one too. I don't keep foundation for more than its expiration, because my skin will get irritated and don't want to deal with how long that healing process will be. If lipstick starts smelling bad that's when I toss it, but I use lipstick for as long as I can.

I totally get this. I have some old shadow palettes that I should toss but I don’t. I do spray my powder products with alcohol every so often to try and cut back on the yuckys and hopefully extend their shelf life a little bit.

I loved original UD Naked palette. I used it until too many shades got super panned. The velvety case got sooo dirty.
Luminoso was a fave until the compact broke.

This turned into a little bit of a “chopping block” episode, and it was so relatable.

What good timing. I used my Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette this morning and was asking myself if that was really the smartest decision I could make…. I just googled it and I bought it 2016 😮

I know it’s old stuff, but your makeup look just so pretty with all this stuff! And your reaction to applying the shades from the UD Naked palette, I swear I always end up doing the same thing. 😂 Every time I’m like, whoa this is just a really good palette! I can’t bring myself to get rid of it just because of its age. 🤷‍♀️

I still have that version of luminoso and I’ve almost completely panned it! I have a new luminoso version waiting in the trenches 😄 (purchased two weeks ago). Have to say though, the ‘new’ luminoso has a slightly different, darker colour.

I still adore the og Naked palette. Although i do think they reformulated somewhere along the way. I repurchased one when i finished my 1st one and i swear the newer formula was slightly different. The shimmers were less creamy and a bit thinner. But i still think it's a great palette. It always looks good and put together when i wear it.

I let the makeup tell me when it goes bad. If it smells, feels, or works off then it's gone.
