Was trying to insert the micro sd and it did click but the tablet didn't recognise it. I haven't used thew tablet in along time so wonder if it needs an update.

Please go one step farther, and try to move applications or data from internal memory to the SD card. I have found that It can't be done unless you root the device. I bought a 64GB SD card with is nearly useless.
