Jokes aside it seems like we are getting some serious efforts at engineering out some of the flaws inherent to panel tech, which is always good…I suppose I wish everyone would team up and just throw r&d money at OLED & whatnot instead of refining ancient tech but I do get why the latter makes more sense in many cases

I bought the Pixio PXC327 because you were using one of their panels for Fix or Flop and I had heard good things about them. Honestly its been a great panel for me....no issues what so ever in the last 6 months.

Too many times I've heard the word "affordable", or "budget" being thrown around only to find out that "budget" monitor is $500. I'm not sure if that's considered budget in their world, but it's not in mine, lol. Granted, $360 is still out of my budget range, but it's a hell of a lot closer than $500 is.

Most CSGO player use the BenQ Zowie XL series, which is a TN panel. They're also very cheap and have exactly what CSGO player want:
Profiles you can set up for less shadow, sharpen images, more vibrance etc., aswell as incredible high hz and normal sized fullHD monitors. IPS 4k monitor worth 1000 euro of course have a nicer look and are nice for less "fast" gameplay - or editing/watching stuff etc.

Regarding fast IPS panels, the Asus ROG Swift PG279QM 27" 240Hz is the fastest IPS panel I have seen in the 2K res category. That UFO test on this monitor is mind-blowing compared to others.

I looked at the Pro previously on Amazon but there were a few buyer complains about backlight bleed and some really damning buyer photos. Did they ever address that?

One thing I tested recently is that a very low pixel response time is not that great with low FPS gaming, 30FPS and below, so for a lot of retro games, specially the early 3D ones that run at abysmal framerates, turning my screen pixel response time to the slowest value possible makes the moving illusion a lot smoother than living it at 1ms. For 60 FPS gaming, my eyes cant tell the difference betweeen slow and fast response time, but, for 120+ fps I have to put the setting back in fast to not become a ghosting festival

@Greg Salazar did you turn on frame insertion/DyAc/backlight strobing when doing the blue busters test? There was significant crosstalk on both the monitors, and neither of them looked like settings were left stock.

Are Pixio and pixL the same company just different names? They sell similar monitors.

There are overdrive in other monitors which reduces ghosting.
