PlayStation Portal Unboxing

Let’s unbox the new PlayStation Portal.

They’ve got Astro featured on the front. It’s cool that they’re using him as a mascot.

And there it is, hidden in the corner, PS5 and WIFI required. Screen content simulated.

Here’s the back with the tagline, “Put Your PS5 in the Palm of Your Hand”. There’s also got a shot from spider-man 2.

Once you take off the outer sleeve, you get a surprisingly premium feeling box.

The inside of the box is a bit more minimalistic, kind of like how the PS5 was packaged.

There’s a USB type-C cable up here, and the Portal itself is simply wrapped in a plastic dust cover.

I completely messed up what could have been a satisfying removal of the screen protector.

Once you turn it on, there's some updates that need installing, then you connect it to your PS5 using the PlayStation app on your phone, and you’re ready to play!

I guess that its gonna be the same experience than with my PSbackbone. Input lag from remote play. That sucks. I was hoping the screen would have worked as just a separate display with no input delay.

Looked up this terribly design switch and it’s just ass no literally why would anyone get it and not just save up for a steam deck or a rog one first you have to have a ps5 already then it doesn’t even play 120hz or more then 1080p and I have a ps5 and Ik damn well that streaming games on there is still ass can’t play a game for more then 10 minutes without it lagging throughout the game
