All the knights and you, the kings manservant, are sat around a table. A candle flickers in the middle of the table, illuminating the kings chambers. A blonde-haired knight stands up and announces “I’ve discovered the murderer, and unfortunately we are dealing with sorcery” Everyone stares at him, eyes wide with shock. You can feel the tension building up inside the room. The knight decides to wait a few moments, which only increases the tension, before continuing with his announcement. “Now, as irrational as this may sound, I believe it to be true”. Everyone holds their breath, has the killer been in the heart of [town/cities name]? The knight takes a deep breath, before uttering “it is [your name]”. Suddenly, everyone’s eyes are on you. You stare back at them in disbelief, but before anyone can say anything, the candle suddenly goes out, plunging the room into darkness. The only light visible is the blood red moon through the window, it’s enough though for everyone to see your eyes flash gold. The kings sword flies out of its scabbard, before hovering in mid air. Everyone’s eyes dart towards it, but you can see the king looking at you through the corner of his eye. The sword flies down into the table, shattering the polished wood around it with a crash. “All this time, there has been a traitor, someone who has been by the kings side” you smile as you whisper the words. Taking in the effect it has brought upon everyone. Your smile turns into a psychotic grin and then a piercing laugh. The king stares at you, utter fear, disbelief and confusion plastered on his face.

You pull up in the driveway to your house, just come home from work. It's late, and it's been a long, but good day. You've worked hard and your boss has just given you a raise, too. Without a care in the world, you stroll up to the entrance, but you come to a sudden stop as you notice a poster has been put up on a lampost, it reads: _Murderer on the loose. WANTED Dead or Alive_. Then it reads the prize money, and that sparks your interest, but you quickly dismiss the thought. _Murderer?_ How? You shake your head. You don't want anything to ruin your day so far.

You fumble with your key in the lock, but something's wrong. Without you having to even _touch_ the door, it creaks open by itself. _Strange, _ you think. But you're forgetful and you probably just didn't remember to lock it that morning.
As you cautiously walk into the kitchen, there's something behind the counter that makes you stop suddenly in your tracks.
You can feel all color draining from your face. You cup your mouth to stifle a scream escaping from deep in you.

_'Ma!'_ You scream at the top of your voice, running to her dead body and you notice a p̶o̶o̶l̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶b̶l̶o̶o̶d̶ seeping from beneath her and you have no words, only the raging voice inside of your head, _Who could do this to her?_ Tears pouring down your face, sobbing, you wipe the tears from your eyes, but they keep coming. You rise to your feet, and you edge for the phone to call the police.
You turn around, and what you see nearly makes _you_ drop down dead too. (BEAT DROP)

Right before your eyes, is your very own 'best friend', who you've known all your life, gun in hand, ready to pull the trigger once more...
