I saw Foo Fighters mid-August in Portland- it was just before the world knew. I guarantee Dave was processing things as well as threw down a killer performance. I am disappointed in Dave, but not surprised. It hasn't changed how I think of the band either. If David doesn't feel like getting up there to be a showman, it's the right call. I feel bad for the fans.

Keeping up with your reports, Perez. Love Dave's music and adore this band. Hope that they get back on track with their art after handling these personal issues. I always enjoyed seeing Dave sing with his daughter. Hope they'll be able to do so again.

Unless it's an emergency related to weather or a serious health issue, big headlining acts get FINED for cancelling big concerts and festivals.
So the whole band and crew are screwed twice - they're not getting paid plus they have to pay the fine.

While Im not excusing Dave cancelling, heading a band on stage takes a lot of energy. So if you're depressed or stressed it may be too hard to muster up the needed energy.
